A Baileigh Industrial mitering band saw equipped with the proper blade is perfect for cutting mild steel, aluminum and much more. These miter saws are excellent for cutting at any angle up to 60 degrees into solid rounds, rectangles, as well as tubing and pipe. All are built to very high standards, as demanded by Baileigh Industrial, Inc.
The manual descent versions shut off the blade after each cut at which point the operator lifts the head to prepare for the next cut. The semi-automatic band saws have hydraulic clamping and a hydraulic saw head lift that activates after the saw is done cutting. Each Baileigh Industrial gear driven metal cutting bandsaw has variable speed, miter heads, and a hydraulic controlled descent devise for perfect feeds and longer blade life. Baileigh's band saws are constructed of a heavy cast iron saw head and base and the blades are guided via a tungsten carbide insert offering rigidity and accuracy. Safety limit switches ensure that if the blade guards are open, that the machine can't operate. Each band saw has a powerful coolant system and a broken blade tensioning devise that shuts down the machine if the blade breaks.
